Hello Forum,
Back when I was running Excel 2013, I needed to manually install the OLAP Pivottable Extensions add-in.
That was when I had administrator rights on my PC which, due to the implementation of a more stringent IT policy, I no longer have.
My PC is about to be re-imaged, and will come with Office 365 Pro Plus. I'm hoping the OLAP add-in functionality comes included, because I will not be able to install it without going through a quite onerous IT approval process.
Does anyone know?
Thanks
Mark James.
Hi Mark,
I've never had to install OLAP extensions with Office 365 ProPlus, so I don't imagine you will either. Hopefully it was just an Excel 2013 requirement. I know I have OLAP functionality because I can use the CUBE functions with the data model, and this requires an OLAP connection.
