Hi,
I need to use GETPIVOTDATA to extract dates from a pivot table so that I use the NETWORKDAYS function to get the number of working days between two dates.
I am having problems with GETPIVOTDATA as I don't seem to be able to get it to auto-populate.
I have checked that obtain GETPIVOTDATA is checked in the pivot table analyse>options.
When I put a = into a cell and the select a cell within the pivot table all I get is the cell reference in the cell.
Is there something else that can prevent auto-populate of the function please?
I have attached a small example sheet with the table, pivot and the cell that I have selected.
GETPIVOTDATA works with items you placed in the Values area. Perhaps the attached file helps you on your way.
