Hi Goutham,

The syllabus for the Excel 2013 version of the course has different numbering. For Excel 2013 the PivotTable lessons are in session 23 and if you look in that Excel file there are notes for many of the lessons available on the 'Answers' or 'After' sheets, just like there is in the session 21 PivotTables files for the Excel 2007/2010 version of the course.

Not all files contain notes, so if you're comparing the session 21 files from both courses then you're looking at different topics.

Was there a specific session that you're missing files for? Note: some of the sessions will have multiple files and for other sessions there is just one file with a tab for each topic, it all depends on the nature of the lessons.

Hi Mynda,

Thanks for your response and I understand it better. But in the downloadable files in Session 23 on Pivot tables, I don't find any example sheet for GETPIVOTDATA, Grouping Dates etc. We have 14 sub topics but there are only 8 sub topics in the downloadable file and hence checking since I see the sheets for these missing sub topics in video lessons.

Hi Goutham,

We must be looking at different files. Supporting file (named: excel_2013_23.xlsm) has a Menu page at the very front with links to all 14 topics for that session, including a page for the GETPIVOTDATA function and Grouping dates.

Are you sure you're using the Excel files from the Excel Expert course and not the files from the Excel Dashboard course optional related Excel lessons?
