Hi,
I'm creating a date table for Power Pivot and Power BI. I want a column that has my week number so I can compare my weekly data this year to last year. If I use the WeekNum function it works well until the beginning and end of the year. For example,
Dec 27/2015 to Jan 2/2016 (Week #53 and Week #1) compared to Dec 25/2016 to Dec 31/2016 (Week #53 only). I can't figure out how to get this to work.

Hi Angela,
Sounds like you need a 4-5-4 or 4-4-5 calendar. You can create this in Power Query (within Power BI) as explained here.
