Hello,

I am looking to do a dashboard where the user has the ability to enter data throughout the year and get information using a combination of option buttons and checkboxes. Below is how the preliminary format look like now:

I looked online for code that would allow me to control the Q 1 as a master for Jan - Mar and similarly for Q2 - Q4 I found code online https://www.exceltrick.com/how_to/selecting-all-checkboxes-using-a-single-checkbox/ that worked great for the first part however after copying the additional checkboxes nothing worked as I hoped that it should. Could you provide some assistance.

BTW I have no idea about macros and VBA, this is my first attempt to use any of these tools in my excel life.

Thanks

Robert

Hi Robert,

The code that you linked to on Excel Trick works fine so I can't do much to help you without your own workbook that you are having issues with 🙂

Please attach your workbook to your reply and I'm sure we can get this sorted out for you.

Regards

Phil

Hi Robert,

I'm wondering why you aren't using PivotTables and Slicers for this task? No VBA or macros required, no maintenance. Just have your user enter the data into a tabular format in an Excel table and link the PivotTable to the data.
