My Pivot Chart has data elements listed in the following sequence.
* Forecast - RT
* Forecast
* Actual
* Current Month
* Actual - RT
* Budget
I'd like to change the sequence of the rows in the Data Table as follows (which would reflect the sequence of columns in the underlying pivot table)
* Forecast
* Forecast - RT
* Actual
* Actual - RT
* Current Month
* Budget

You can manually sort by left clicking and draging the fields names into the locations you want in the PivotTable itself.

I had already changed the sequence of the columns in the PivotTable as you instructed before I submitted the post.
The columns in the PivotTable are in the sequence that I want them to be. The DataTable on the chart just didn't reflect the same sequence.
I eventually made it work by doing the following.
1) Click Select Data on the Chart
2) Switch Row/Column
3) Switch Row/Column again
Upon completing the 3 steps above, the sequence of Rows in the Chart Data Table now reflects the sequence of the columns in the Pivot Table. However, by doing this impacts the chart itself as it alters the chart type for each of the Series in the Chart.
When adjusting the chart type (clustered column, Area, Line) for each of the data Series, the sequence of the rows in the Chart DataTable changes again.
Hmmm, I'm not sure why the data table doesn't follow the order of the series in the PivotTable. I assume it's because of the different chart types, but I can't replicate the issue in my own files. If you're able to share your file, I can take a look.
