Hi Mynda

I am trying to incorporate 2 sets of list box data onto one chart.

I want to show both the actual and budgets together. I am able to do individual charts and they work perfectly, now I would like to have one chart showing both of them on top of each other, is sixths possible using list boxes

Many thanks

Ann

Hi Ann,

Welcome to our forum!

Can you please upload a sample Excel file so I can see what you mean. I'm not sure what you mean by 'list box data'.

Hi Mynda,

Attached is the file on the "customers" tab currently is showing actual figures, I would like to add budgets in the same  graphs, so January would show budget  along side the current column. Is this possible

Thanks for your help

Hello,

This blog article by Mynda is perhaps presenting something similar of what you have in mind.

Hi Ann,

Thanks for sharing your file.

I would simply insert PivotCharts with both the actual and budget data in the one Pivot. Then you can use Slicers instead of the combo box. That way you don't need the Analysis1 sheet or the combo box.

The combo box method is only required when you have people on versions of Excel before 2010 who don't have Slicers, or you have PivotTables that use different source data and you don't want/can't use Power Pivot.
