Hi Mynda,
I noticed that in the DV tab of the homework workbook you have set up a 2 column table for the index function. I tried a single-column table with just the dates and with the index formula selecting column 1 and it seems to work the same.
Is using a 2 column table considered a "best practice", and if so, what advantage(s) does it offer over the single-column table in this situation?

Hi Brian,
There's no difference/benefit. You could equally write the formula this way:
=INDEX(TblDV[Month],C1)
I have the first column in the table to show that my fiscal dates are not in calendar order, which helps with understanding.
