Hello,

In Mynda's Free Youtube Video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TK0CJBaqvnY) on Dashboards, starting around Minute 33, she explains how to create a relative defined named range Formula for spark lines.  I was able to recreate the Formula and it works fine in certain cells, but for some reason it does not work when I insert it into the space/cells that I had planned for it to sit on my Dashboard.  Since the Dashboard is complete and running I don't want to redesign, I just want to understand why it is not working.  When I go to Insert Sparkline and call up the defined names with F3, select the Name and hit enter it gives me the following error message (roughly translated): "the refenece at saved location or the data range is invalid".

Has anyone encountered this Problem and can help?

Thanks so much!

Hi Charlotte,

It sounds like you didn't select the correct cell when you set up the dynamic named range. Remember, it's crucial that the cell selected when you set up the dynamic named range is the first cell you want to use the dynamic named range in. Here is a step by step tutorial on creating relative dynamic named ranges.
