Hello everyone,

I have created several dashboards that people are using for reporting, but the issue I have encountered is that the slicers print really ugly!  I have set the slicers to print because they represent how the data on the report is filtered.  Are there settings that I am unaware of to make them print better?  Or can anyone think of an alternative to printing something that would display how the data has been filtered?  I hope that makes sense!

Thank you.

Hi Pamela,

I'm not familiar with printing problems with Slicers. I did some Google searches and couldn't find any mention of this either.

Instead of printing the Slicers you could set them to not print in the Properties, then insert a dummy PivotTable under the slicer that only contains the Slicer field in the row labels. Link this dummy PivotTable to the Slicer, and then when you print you should see the list of items selected.

With some fancy formatting you can make this dummy PivotTable look good.

Hope that helps.

Mynda
