Dear,
I have a daily Sales Data of 12 Companies, lets Say C1, C2, C2, C4.... C12 from Jan 2019 to June 2019 . In July 2019, C1, C2, C3 merged to form Ca, C4, C5, C6 merged to form Cb and so on. If I wish to calculate the sales of merged Companies Ca, Cb, Cc.... of all the dates from Jan 2019 to June 2019, how can I do. Kindly help. I also attach a sample file and my desired outputs.
Hello,
In order to use Pivot Tables you need to put your data in a tabular format, it makes it a whole lot easier. In attached file I have unpivoted your data (using Power Query) + added an extra column to set which companies that are to be merged. When that is set is simple enough to get the pivot table as wanted.
Please take some time to read more about tabular format and pivot tables.
