Hi,
I've just watched the Excel Project Management Dashboard video, it's really useful, however what i'd like to be able to do is add in another conditional formatting function when a task has actually taken longer than planned.
Is this possible in your existing example, or would i need to add another column in to show planned v actual?
Thank you
Hi Nikki,
Welcome to our forum!
You'd need another column with the actual completion date. So, you'd have two end dates, one for target end date and one for actual end date. That way you can compare the two to see if there is an overrun and highlight those dates in a different colour.
I hope that points you in the right direction.

Hi Mynda,
Thank you for your feedback. I've added the additional column in (I) but i'm struggling to get the formula correct to highlight the cells that are past the original planned end date.

Please share a small example Excel file showing your data layout and what you've tried, so I can help you find a solution.
