Hello, I have a problem of generating a meaningful chart in excel, please see attached file. The data is from pivot table, and I can get a pivot chart out of it, but I have a feeling that the normal chart has more flexibility to manipulate?

many thanks!

I think the best you can do with this data is a bar chart, assuming you want it all in one chart. If you add Slicers you can filter the data so you're not seeing everything at once and it's more manageable.

You can also leave the Pivot Chart expand/collapse buttons on the chart to allow drilling up/down levels in the data.

See example file attached.

Hi Tina,

You don't need to turn the table into a query. I had to do that so I could Pivot your data again because you had pasted it as values. You should be able to recreate the PivotTable and Chart that I did from your original source data.

Sorry Mynda, I didnt explain clearly that I just wanted to see how the table was transposed. I figured it out now in the query design. thanks heaps for your help!
