Hi there

I attach a pretty ropey excel file that seems to have lots of compatibility errors...  I have created a dashboard using ordinary pivot tables (I know, should use power pivot but haven't quite mastered your courses on that yet 🙁  Anyway - data is in a table and have uploaded October - but now the pivot charts don't seem to recognise the latest data even though it's in the named table?  They recognised last month's data though???  Maybe it's the way I copied in the new data??

If you're able to help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

kind regards, Fran

Hi Fran,

No workbook attached. Be sure to click the Start Upload button after selecting your file and then wait for the grey check mark beside the file size before clicking Submit Reply.

Hi Fran,

If you look at the PivotTable on the Pv_fwd_PC sheet the Period Name filter doesn't include October. If you refresh the PivotTable, the Nett field is removed from the Values area. Adding it back in restores the PivotTable and also adds a new calculated field, nett2 to the field list. I'm not sure which field you want in the PivotTable, Nett or nett2, but I think you'll need to refresh the PivotTables and add the fields back that it drops on refresh.

Hope that helps.
