Good evening,

I would like to create Stacked Column and Line Chart in Power BI.  I have attached some data.  I would like to use 3 data entries of the Sample ID for the stack column and the 4th data entry for the line.  Thus Sample ID's FTC, 444C and Rockfill as the stacked column and TK001 as the line graph.

Hi Kobus,

Please see the attached file. I've inserted a combo chart with a clustered column for FTC, Rockfill and 44C, with TK001 as the line. I don't think it makes sense to use a stacked column chart because only the first item in the stack will be comparable to TK001.

You'll see I've added a column to your source for TK001 and hidden the TK001 'sum of converted log values' in the PivotChart by formatting those series with no fill in the column and lines.

I hope that helps.

Mynda

Good morning Mynda,

Thank you very much.  That was very helpful.  The FTC, Rockfill and 444C are sources of contamination.  After chemical treatment TK001 is the level remaining.  So I have changed your graphed to stacked columns to see the total of the contamination vs TK001.  See attachment.

Oh ok, in that case the stacked column makes sense 🙂
