Cell Borders change after applying a filter

Hello, 

I need your support to understand why Excel reset to default borders in gray color, despite I customized the color of cell borders

Hi Mark,

I couldn't really make out what was happening in the video, sorry. Can you create a mock up file and share it with us so we can reproduce the issue?

Thanks for sharing your file, Mark.

What you're seeing are the gridlines which you've hidden with white borders on the cells. When the PivotTable resizes the old formatting is lost. Instead simply turn gridlines off via the View tab of the ribbon > deselect Gridlines.
