All,
I need help with an analysis. Attached. The pivot table is grabbing leasing data from a building. It shows the average rent and average rent/sf achieved during each Quarter of the property's opening. These averages are a little misleading only because in any given quarter there could be different units and weird one-off situation. To smooth out the data, I wanted to show the average of the entire property at the specific time period during the lease up (almost like a rolling average but the time period stays fixed at the initial opening). For example, 2nd quarter 2016 would be the average of all rents achieved since the beginning of the lease up (q2 2014) through 2nd quarter 2016. As you'll see i have a table the has the respective $/SF (column K and then in Column N i have averaging those averages which is wrong. But i don't know how to do it right.
How do i do this with manually going into the data ?
Sorry, maybe check yourself also after posting, but no file attached! We can't help this way...... sorry!

Really?!? I thought for sure I clicked all the right buttons to upload the file correctly. I'll double check when I get into the office
What I do after the sequence 'selecting file-click upload-click submit reply' is leaving the item, then come back and then see if the attachment really is in the post I submitted. So a kind of 'final check' after leaving and coming back to be sure it's in my reply or new post. And in your post there is nothing, you can see for yourself!
We wait until we see your contribution!
